GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – Head Tennis Coach Doug White would like to announce his first signing for the class of 2010-2011 Garrett Garchow of East Kentwood High School. Garchow will join the Panthers in the fall of 2010 in their second season as a varsity program at Davenport.
Garrett Garchow comes to Davenport from East Kentwood High School where he prepped under Head Coach Duy Tran. Garrett was the regional runner-up in 2009 and was ranked #53 in the state of Michigan. The 5'10 Garchow played #3 singles as a Falcon.
The 2009-2010 Men's Tennis team at Davenport finished 3-11 but will return a majority of their young lineup and add more recruits during the summer months.
Garrett is the son of Laurene Garchow and will major in accounting at Davenport.
