GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - Bryan Larocque had a record-setting day in the men's lacrosse win over Toledo at the DU Turf Field on Saturday. He scored 12 of the team's 27 goals and set the single-game record for goals established by Shawn Beer in 2008 (10).

Larocque had several highlight reel goals behind the back and between the legs against the Rockets in the 27-3 victory improving Davenport to 6-0 overall. The Rockets fall to 0-3 and never had a chance in this one.

DU scored the first four goals and led 8-2 after one quarter. Larocque scored four times in the first. The Panthers outscored the Rockets, 9-1, in the second quarter to take a 17-3 lead at halftime. Larocque scored three more times in the second including the first man-up goal for the Panthers.

Larocque scored four straight goals in the third including the record-breaking goal at 3:51 on another man-up chance. The scored his final goal with 40 seconds left. Jarred Riley scored four times and added seven assists to his big day. Paul Schalau scored twice and added six assists. Jimmy Fata recorded a goal and two assists.

Joe Lopez scored a pair of goals and had one assist. Jon Nykamp added two goals and two assists. Logan Poe made four saves in net  as DU had a 38-7 advantage in shots on goal. Jimmy DeJaeger had a fantastic day in the face-off circle going 28-of-33 and he also had 10 ground balls.
