NAIA National Tournament History for DU (5-3 in 3 appearances) – Davenport is making its fourth straight appearance and fourth overall at the NAIA D2 National Tournament…Last season, the Panthers made a run to the Fab Four before falling to eventual national champion Oregon Tech 55-50 in the semfinal...DU picked up wins over William Penn, Indiana Southeast and Cardinal Stritch...In 2010-11, Davenport picked up a pair of wins at the tournament as they defeated Briar Cliff and Black Hills State to reach the Elite 8…The Panthers lost in the opening round in 2009-10 to Eastern Oregon…The Panthers were an un-seeded team in 2009-10 and the No. 3 overall seed in 2011-12 while they are No. 9 overall this year
