Season Quick FactsThe Panthers went 5-8 in overall this seasonand went 0-6 in the Mid-South Conference where all four teams were ranked in the top five in the D1A Rugby. Davenport, who is their second season in D1A Rugby, played more competitvely this season against their conference teams to grab an at-large bid into their first ever D1A National Tournament. Leading the team in point heading into the post season is Brady Gent with 49 point. Sondai Adjei, Reece Czarnecki and Gabe Sochaneck are tied for the team lead in tries with six each.
Davenport History in the National TournamentThis will be the first season that the Panthers have qualified for the D1A National Tournament after the team missed the tournament last season in their first season in the D1A. Before moving up to D1A, the Panthers won back-to-back National Championships as part of D1AA Rugby. Davenport has gone 8-0 in National Tournament Games.
