Lindsay Furness becomes the first member of the women's soccer team to be named DU's Female Athlete of the Week. Against Goshen for the lone match of the week Wednesday, Furness scored the first two goals of her collegiate career and it was more than enough in the Panthers 4-0 win over the Maple Leafs.

The Jenison High School graduate has started all five matches for head coach Chris Allen this season, logging in 373 minutes of work. She also added an assist in the Panthers home opener against Grace Bible.
