Davenport University Athletics

Chantal Caraher is the Davenport Female Athlete of the Week after she led the women’s hockey team to a road sweep of the University of Wisconsin. Caraher totaled five goals and two assists in the two games.
 
In the first game of the weekend, Caraher tallied her first hat trick of the season as she scored one goal in each period. She also notched one assist in the game as the Lady Panthers won the first game 7-0.
 
In game two of the weekend, Caraher picked up right where she left off as she scored the first two goals of the game to break a scoreless tie in the second period. The sophomore from Sarnia, Ontario chipped in with another assist as DU completed the sweep with a 5-0 win.
 
Caraher will lead the women’s hockey team into their next series against Miami (Ohio) in Oxford, Ohio next weekend.
