Kody Polin is the Davenport Male Athlete of the Week after he helped the D1 Hockey to a weekend split of their rival Oakland. In the two road games this weekend Kody Polin tallied four goals.
 
To start the weekend on Friday, Polin scored one goal and had one assist in the game en route to a 5-4 win. Polin’s goal was a shorthanded game winning goal that put the Panthers up by two goals in the third period.
 
In a back-and-forth affair Saturday night, Polin continued to have the scoring touch for Davenport as he tallied a hat-trick the Panthers. Polin and his line combined for six goals in the Panthers 8-7 shootout loss.
 
The D1 hockey team will be back in action this weekend with a home-and-home series against Rochester College.
