Daina Grazulis in the Davenport Female Athlete of the Week after she led the women’s basketball team to a season opening victory over No. 12 Cardinal Stritch, and led the team in scoring in their exhibition game against Michigan.
 
Grazulis made her DU debut on Saturday night when the team took on budding rival Cardinal Stritch to start the season for the Lady Panthers. The senior transfer impressed with 31 points and 15 rebounds to lead the team to a 70-57 season opening win.
 
In the Lady Panthers exhibition game against Michigan, Grazulis led the team in points and rebounds once again with 16 and 10 respectively. However, Davenport lost to the Big Ten program in the exhibition.
 
Grazulis will lead the Lady Panthers into another big weekend when they host No. 19 Huntington (Ind.) and No. 1 St. Francis (Ind.)
