For the second straight week, Krissy Dill was named the Davenport Female Athlete of the Week after she helped lead the volleyball team to their first ever tournament conference championship, as they did not drop a set throughout the tournament.

In the quarterfinals on Friday against Indiana Tech, Dill had eight kills in the match to go along with 12 digs in the match. She was also responsible for ten points in the match as she helped move her team into the semifinals.

Davenport faced crosstown rival Aquinas in the semifinals, and the freshman from Wayland, Mich., led the team with 23 digs and chipped in with ten kills. Dill continued to play strong on offense and defense as she with ten kills and ten digs in the WHAC Championship game against Madonna en route to a 3-0 win over the Crusaders.

Dill and the volleyball team will now wait to see whom they will face in the NAIA National Tournament Opening Round on Saturday.
