This weeks Female Athlete of the Week is Daina Grazulis, as she led the women’s basketball team to three more wins this week to move to 16-0 on the season and remain atop the WHAC standings with at 10-0.

Grazulis started of the week scoring 17 points and going 5-for-9 from the field in win against Marygrove. The senior then followed that up with 27 points, while shoot 11-for-17 from the field and grabbed nine rebounds, one shy of eight double-double on the season.

In the final game of the week for the women’s basketball team, Grazulis tallied 18 points and had even rebounds in the game. She helped the Lady Panthers to an 83-45 win over Concordia to maintain a one game lead over Madonna in the WHAC.

Grazulis will lead the women’s basketball team into a pair of WHAC games this week as they host Lourdes on Wednesday, before they travel to Dearborn, Mich., to face Michigan-Dearborn on Saturday.
