Dominez Burnett is Davenport Male Athlete of the Week after he led the men’s basketball team to two more wins this week as they came from behind in both games this week as they defeated Siena Heights and rival Cornerstone.
 
Burnett led all scorers in both games as he scored 29 points against Siena Heights and had 24 against Cornerstone. In the game against Siena Heights he scored 23 of his 29 points in the second half, while having nine rebounds and four assists in both games this week as DU is atop the WHAC standings by one game.
 
Burnett and the men’s basketball team will be back in action on Wednesday when they face Aquinas at home, before they hit the road to face Madonna on Saturday.
