Brenna Hunter was name the Davenport Female Athlete of the Week after she broke the school record in the 5,000 meter race, while finishing in third place in the event at the Findlay Classic in Findlay, Ohio.

Hunter broke the school in the 5,000 meter race with a time of 19:08.83, and placed third in the event as well. She also finished in fifth place in the one mile run with a time of 5:40.41 to cap off her day.

Hunter and the track and field squads will be in action next weekend at Saginaw Valley State’s the Cardinal and the Spire Institute Midwest Open in Geneva, Ohio.
