Shaina Johnson was named the Davenport Female Athlete of the Week after she led the Davenport women’s basketball team to their 24th win of the season, after they beat Lawrence Tech and Northwestern Ohio.
 
After scoring just five points on Wednesday against Lawrence Tech, Johnson went off for 23 points and was 5-for-8 from behind the arc as she helped the Lady Panthers battle back to beat Northwestern Ohio to clinch at least a share of the WHAC Championship.
 
Johnson will lead the Lady Panthers into the week where they face Indiana Tech on the road, before they host Concordia on Saturday.
