Davenport University Athletics

Glenn Geurink was named the Davenport Male Athlete of the Week after he was able to battle through open 285 pound bracket at the NCWA Michigan Championships, and also helped his team to a first place finish to the championships.
 
Geurink went undefeated in his weight class as he was able to win each by pin fall to win the open 285 class. He also helped the wrestling team to a team championship as they compiled 73 points to finish in first place.
 
Geurink and the wrestling team will be back action in two weeks for the Great Lakes Conference Championship on March 1st.
