Matt Priebe was named the Davenport Male Athlete of the Week after he helped the baseball team to a 6-2 record over their spring break trip in Florida. The Panthers are now 9-2 in the early going of their 2015 season.
 
Over their trip in Florida, Priebe hit .576 over the eight games along with five double and home run, while driving in 12 runs. He helped the Panthers to a pair of wins over top-15 team teams in the NAIA as they split a series with No. 13 Southeastern (Fla.) and beat No. 11 Embry-Riddle (Fla.).
 
Priebe and the baseball team will be back in action on March 18th as they open up their WHAC schedule on the road against Aquinas.
