Glenn Geurink will share the Male Athlete of the Week honor this week with teammate, Zack Yates, as they both won the NCWA National Championship in their respective weight classes over the weekend.
 
Geurink was able to capture the NCWA National Championship in the 285 lb., weight class this past weekend. Geurink won his first match by pin fall, while he won the rest of his bouts in the going the full length, which was capped off by 3-2 win in the finals.
 
The Davenport wrestling team ended their inaugural season with a ninth-place finish at the NCWA National Championship.
