Emily Maves is the Davenport Female Athlete of the Week after she led the softball team to a 4-0 record at the Davenport Classic this past weekend. The Lady Panthers defeated Hillsdale, Roosevelt and Judson two times at the classic.
 
Maves threw 14 shutout innings recording 13 strikeouts, while just walking four batters. She picked up wins over Roosevelt and Judson to go 2-0 on the week, while she picked up the save against Hillsdale in the Panthers final game of the weekend.
 
Maves and the softball team will be back in action this week as they start their week on Tuesday against Northwood (Mich.) in Midland, Mich.
