Taylor Balch is the Davenport Female Athlete of the Week after she led the women’s lacrosse team to a pair WHAC wins this week over Siena Heights and Aquinas. The Lady Panthers are now 7-0 in the WHAC and are 10-2 on the season.
 
In the first game of the week against Siena Heights, Balch was able to tally a season high six assists as the Panthers beat the Saints, 14-9. At home on Saturday against Aquinas, Balch tallied her second straight six assists game, while she chipped in with two goals against Aquinas in an 18-5 win.
 
Balch and the women’s lacrosse team will head into their final week of the regular season as they travel to Lawrence Tech, before they host Siena Heights and Indiana Tech to cap off the regular season.
