Emily Maves earns this week’s Davenport Female Athlete of the Week award as she went 4-0 on this week to lead the softball team to 5-1 week. Maves started the week with her a perfect game against Cornerstone in an 8-0 win on Wednesday.
 
Maves sits at 20-3 on the year and holds a 1.85 ERA, while striking out 151 batters. The perfect game against Cornerstone on Wednesday was her second career perfect game after she threw one last season against Michigan-Dearborn in the WHAC Tournament on April 30th.
 
The Davenport softball team will be back in action this week as they travel to Lourdes on Friday, before they host Saint Xavier (Ill.), for their final week of the regular season.
