Dominez Burnett has been on a tear this season and was named WHAC Player of the Week on Nov. 16. Burnett averaged 27.7 points and 7.7 rebounds in three games for the No. 3 Panthers. Burnett averaged 29.3 minutes per game and shot 61.7 percent (29-of-47) from the floor and 78.6 percent (22-of-28) from the free throw line. He also recorded nine steals, five assists and one blocked shot as Davenport averaged 90.3 points per game during the week with a 3-0 record. Burnett eclipsed 2,000 career points on Nov. 10 against Purdue-North Central and finished with 30 points (two shy of his career-high). He also scored 26 points against Marygrove and 27 more against Indiana Tech. He currently has 2,073 career points.
