Brian Sobieski was named the WHAC Player of the Week on April 4. Sobieski had a nearly perfect week in the leadoff spot for the Panthers as they went 4-0 outscoring their opponents 56-6. He had an on-base percentage of .813 which included 7-for-10 at the plate, four walks and two hit by pitch. Brian also recorded four doubles and a home run while scoring nine times with a 1.400 slugging percentage. He has reached base safely in 11 straight games and has a season-best seven-game hitting streak.
