The men's golf team played a steady final round in the St. Ambrose Invitational, posting a team score of 288 (E), but was unable to catch the leaders as the host school took home top honors. Zac Bested and Nick Boone once again led the charge for the Panthers as they posted a two day total of 139. Boone followed up his 67 with a 72 and Bested shot a 70 after his 69 in the first round. St. Ambrose's Adam White fired an impressive 67-71 to gain medalist honors and his team finished with total of 558 to better the Panthers by just four shots. DU will try and stay hot as they open up WHAC play at Cornerstone (Quail Ridge Golf Club) on Wednesday, September 12.
