After traveling to Canada for their first two games, the Panthers Hockey team stayed in Grand Rapids for the Grand Valley State Division II Showcase as they defeated Florida Gulf Coast 5-4. After taking a 2-0 into the 1st intermission, DU came out a little flat as they saw FGCU storm back to tie the game at two going into the 3rd period. The bleeding would not stop there as they found themselves trailing 3-2 after an early goal in the third period by the opposition. DU responded with three goals in a short amount of time to give themselves a cushion that they held onto for the final outcome. Jonah Rogowski led the offensive charge posting two goals and Brit Ouellette had a solid night contibuting a goal and two assists.
