After winning three of its four games in the Division II Showcase over the weekend, the Panthers hockey team opened up GMHL play against rival Ferris State on Sunday, October 7. The game was a one-sided affair as DU posted seven first period goals. Davenport opened up the scoring just 2:33 into the game and the flood gates opened from there for the final score of 12-2. Reigning Division II Player of the Year Adam Thomas scored five goals and Adam Tomacari netted three. Brit Ouellette and Jonah Rogowksi continued their stellar play as they posted seven assists between the two.
