Chicago, Ill. - Sam Waldhart posted a goal and three assists as the Panthers swept ACHA D2 Robert Morris on Saturday night. The 5-4 win came on the heels of a 6-4 win the night before and improves DU to 8-7 on the year.

The first period was a defensive battle by both teams after an offensive filled game the night before. Both goaltenders were on top of their game and the two teams went into the first intermission tied at 0-0.

Sam Waldhart then heated up for the Panthers as he connected with three different teammates in the second period (Jason Kraemer, Mike Buwolda and Jordan Steger) to give Davenport a 3-1 lead, but two late goals from Robert Morris tied the game heading into the final twenty minutes.

Right away, Davenport regained the lead on a nice individual play from Waldhart but again, they could not hold onto the lead as they surrendered the tying goal shortly after taking the lead. Jordan Steger though put away the game winner late in the period as Davenport swept the weekend series.

The win lifts DU above .500 at 8-7 on the year as they will take on Delta College on Sunday at 11:30 at Patterson Ice Center.
