LYNCHBURG, Va. - Davenport defeated Liberty University today to complete the weekend sweep and also take the season series 3 games to 1. The win lifts DU to 27-3 on the season as they will take on Michigan Friday night at home.

After escaping with a 4-3 win last night, the Panthers returned to the ice tonight in Lynchburg, VA to try and take both games away from home against their ACHA D1 rival.

Davenport got out to an early lead and used a stingy defense to post another impressive victory against the Flames on Saturday night.

Davenport will return to action at home on Friday night when they host University of Michigan at 8:00 at Patterson Ice Center.
