FORT WAYNE, Ind. - Davenport posted their 5th win of the year on Friday as they defeated WHAC foe Indiana Tech 5-4 in Fort Wayne. DU will now take on Spring Arbor and Adrian College this weekend to finish their inaugural season.

Davenport, which was on the wrong side of a 5-4 match earlier in the week against Aquinas, rebounded to defeat Indiana Tech in their first meeting ever with the Warriors.

DU was able to post four wins in singles matches and one in doubles for the 5-4 win. Diane Favela (San Luis Potosi, Mexico) won 6-3, 6-0 while Denisse Favela (San Luis Potosi, Mexico) won 6-2, 6-2.

The two other singles winners from DU were Brittany Bott (Hudsonville, Mich.) who won 6-4, 6-0 and Ashleigh Deane (Greenville, Mich.) who picked up her first collegiate tennis win 6-4, 6-7, 6-3.

Davenport picked up the match win thanks to a doubles win from Denisse Favela and Emily Vogl (Wyoming, Mich.) who won 8-1.

The Lady Panthers now take on Spring Arbor and Adrian to finish their season.
