BOURBANNAIS, Ill. - After picking up their first victory yesterday over Judson the Panther fell 5-0 to a very solid Olivet Nazarene team. The loss drops the women's tennis team to 1-2 overall with five fall matches left.

Due to weather conditions the tennis team was only able to compete in singles matches with one match being deemed unfinished. Diane Favela (San Luis Potosi, Mexico) was the only player to win a set eventually falling in three sets 3-6, 6-3, and 6-3.

In number three singles Stephanie Fortney (Allegan, Mich.) was tied at one set a piece and leading the third before her match was called due to rain.

The next competition for the Lady Panthers is the ITA Regional tournament which is being played at Orchard Hills Athletics Club in Grand Rapids, Mich.
