ADRIAN, Mich. – The Lady Panthers improved their record breaking win streak to 25 today when they defeated Siena Heights on the road, 98-50. Five Panthers would end the game in double digits with DU increasing their lead in the conference race to three games.
Right from the jump, DU would use tough defense and sharp shooting to take the lead and never look back. At the 13:39 mark in the first half Davenport would lead 10-5, before going on a 14-0 run, capped off by a
Carrie Grubius three pointer, to take the 24-7 lead.
After twenty minutes of play the Panthers would go into the locker room up 47-24 and shooting 53% from the field.
In the second Davenport would continue to have the sharp hand shooting from the field finishing at 54% for the half and increasing their lead to as much as 48 to record the 98-50 victory.
In two games vs. the Saints this season. Davenport has outscored their opponent by a combined 202-88. The last time the two teams met, DU posted their biggest margin of victory at home when they won 104-38.
Kallie Benike would lead all scorers with 14 points followed by five other DU players in double figures including
