GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - The Davenport women's tennis team had a heart breaking end to the WHAC Championships last weekend but found out this week that they have earned an at-large bid to the Regional Tournament on April 29-30. DU will face McKendree University in the regional semifinals with the championship set for Saturday the 30th.

Patrick Grashorn was informed this week that his team's 2010-11 season is still alive after getting an at-large bid to the Regional Tournament from April 29-30 in Lockport, IL. The four teams, Northwestern Ohio, St, Ambrose, Davenport and McKendree, will compete for the championship which will earn them a bid to the 2011 NAIA National Championshps.
Northwestern Ohio goes up against St. Ambrose with McKendree facing Davenport in the semifinal round. Friday's play will take place at Lockport High School with both women's matches set to begin at 1:00pm.
Saturday's championship match is set to be played at Challenge Fitness in Lockport with the women set to play right after the men at approximately 1:00pm
