GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – Coming off a successful road trip in California last weekend, the 12th-ranked Davenport women's basketball team wraps up its three-game roadstand Wednesday with a Wolverine Hoosier Athletic Conference matchup at Northwestern Ohio. The Lady Panthers will tip off at 5:30 p.m. and will be followed by the men's team.

The Lady Panthers head to Lima, Ohio, undefeated with a 6-0 record and are looking to stay on top of the WHAC standings. During their trip to Southern California, the Lady Panthers rolled past Concordia (Calif.) 74-51 and then downed San Diego Christian 85-72. Tiesha Stokes continues to perform well on the hardwood as the freshman recorded a double-double in both games, highlighted by a season-high 23 points against the Hawks.

While the Racers are 1-5 on the year, they are still in search for their first conference win. They were recently downed by Lawrence Tech 91-79 last Tuesday to fall to 0-2. Shaye Warman led the Racers with 16 points while Madison Coldren finished the day with a double-double, recording 12 points and 11 rebounds.

Davenport defeated Northwestern Ohio 91-74 in their previous meeting in Lima last season. Among returners, Kayleigh VanKeulen scored all nine points from beyond the arc while Karli Harris finished behind her with eight. Harris also paced the team with seven assists.
