The Davenport Report – 4-4-0, 4-2-0-0 CCWHA
Tom Hofman's Panthers continue to carry hot sticks to the rink as they have won four in a row to bring their overall record to .500 while moving above it in the Central Collegiate Women's Hockey Association. Recently, Davenport is coming off having shutting out a two-game set against Ohio State, taking game one 1-0 in overtime and game two 5-0 less than 24 hours after the series opener. Chantal Caraher and Lexie Boydston have been racking up points in this season, especially during the winning streak. Caraher paces the team with eight goals and 11 assists for 19 points while Boydston becomes the first Panther to reach the 10-goal mark and as two assists for 12 points. Darian Adams is also on the spotlight as she has five goals and a team-leading eight assists for 13 points. Lauren Yomantas was the goalie of record in the last two contests and became the first Panther to record a shutout.

Scouting Central Michigan – 0-5-1, 0-5-1-0 CCWHA
The Chippewas are still in search for a win this season in six attempts. Their only tie came last Sunday when they and Northern Michigan had to settle to a 4-4 decision in Marquette. Altogether, Central Michigan has only found the back of the net eight times this season, with Samantha Jenkins and Amanda Steffey sharing the lead with two each. Cecelia Anscomb has been the go-to player between the pipes, making 274 saves and maintaining a 9.57 goals-against average in 420 minutes of work.
