GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The 10th-ranked Davenport women's basketball team will travel east through the Beltline for a key Wolverine Hoosier Athletic Conference contest at rival Aquinas Saturday at 1 p.m. Fans can listen to the game live on the Davenport Athletics Network (DAN) with Ken Clemens and Ed Keating on the call.

The Panthers (24-2, 17-2 WHAC) will be looking to sweep the three-team Beltline rivalry. The Panthers went 2-0 against Cornerstone while rolling past Aquinas 108-48 in their first meeting of the season at the Student Center on Jan. 5.

Davenport is also looking to keep up the pace with first-place Concordia, which holds a one-game lead over the Panthers.

Aquinas (12-13, 8-11 WHAC) is coming off a 44-60 loss to Beltline rival Cornerstone Wednesday. The Golden Eagles clinch the series against the Saints 2-0. Chelsea Matley led the game with 17 points, making her the only Saint to reach double figures. Shelby Carter led the team on the glass, bringing down seven rebounds.  The two teams went back-and-forth in the first half until Cornerstone went on a 15-0 run to take a 40-22 lead with 12:55 left in the game.
