SYLVANIA, Ohio – Alex Law had 16 points, all in the first half, and Brittany Johnson added 14 as the Davenport women's basketball team used a 26-4 run at the start of the game to roll past Lourdes 75-41 for the fourth-ranked Panthers 13th straight win. The Panthers improve to 17-1 overall and 11-1 in Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference play while the Gray Wolves dropped to 4-15 overall and 2-10 in league play.
 
Kia Frazier scored seven points but had four of the Panthers 19 steals and led the team with six rebounds with Kelcie Haizlip.
 
Davenport took advantage on the charity stripe, going 13-for-16 for a season-best 81.3 percentage. Molly Babbs went nailed all four of her free throw opportunities to lead the team.
 
Despite shooting 39.5 percent from the floor in the first half, Davenport went into intermission leading 46-17. The 17 points the Gray Wolves scored were the fewest the Panthers have allowed this season, besting the 20 points DU conceded against Concordia on Jan. 8.
 
The Panthers, who held Lourdes to only a 26.3 shooting percentage in the opening period, also forced 22 turnovers and were credited 15 steals. Law led the way by nailing five of her seven 3-point attempts and adding a free throw for 16 points. Tiesha Stokes had four rebounds, all offensively, to lead that department with Frazier. Frazier also paced the team with four steals.
 
The Panthers wrap up their two-game road trip Wednesday with a visit to Northwestern Ohio. Tipoff is set for 5:30 p.m.
 
Post-Game Notes
Davenport remains undefeated against Lourdes in six all-time meetings…Alex Law's five 3-pointers were the most in a game this season.
