About Alumni Day
Davenport will be hosting its annual Alumni Day Saturday against crosstown rivals Cornerstone. The Panthers will hold a pickup game for alumni in attendance at 10 a.m., before the current Panthers take on the Golden Eagles. Alumni in attendance will also be recognized at halftime.

Cousins Twins Go Head-to-Head Again
Saturday's game marks the second time that twins sisters Kristina (Davenport) and Katelyn (Cornerstone) Cousins meet on the basketball hardwood. The two Forest Hills Central Hills High School products played against each other for the first time on Nov. 20. Katelyn had 15 points while Kristina didn't score off the bench but tallied two assists and rebounds each.

A Quick Look at Cornerstone – 15-5, 10-3 WHAC – Head Coach Katie Mattera
The Golden Eagles, who found themselves in the NAIA Division II Top 25 for the first time this season, have won 12 of their last 14 games including last Wednesday's 74-69 home victory over No. 18 Siena Heights. Katelyn Cousins has been the leader on the team in nearly every statistical category such as points per game (19.0), assists (60) and steals (39).

The Last Time vs. Cornerstone
Cornerstone pulled a big upset over then-No. 2 Davenport at the Mol Arena by beating the Panthers 83-76 last November. The Golden Eagles had no trouble finding the bucket, shooting 41 percent from the field while taking advantage of the charity stripe by scoring 24 points in 33 attempts. Davenport, meanwhile, was the opposite, shooting a season-low 36 percent in field goal range and going 16-for-27 on the free throw line. Both teams went back-and-forth with the lead in the second half until the Golden Eagles outscored the Panthers 17-10 within the final five minutes of the contest. The lead would change 13 times and tie at least eight.
