Scouting Ohio State Ohio State enters the weekend with a 0-2-0-0 record as they dropped two consecutive games against Robert Morris two weekends ago. The Buckeyes fell to the Eagles 5-0 in game one of their two-game series, and lost the lead in the 3
rd period of their second game, losing 3-2. The Buckeyes return to the Ohio State Ice Arena for the first time all season, as this will be their only home series of October.
The Panthers Davenport looks to take their offensive assault that they had in Nebraska, and bring it to Columbus for this weekend's series against the Buckeyes. Davenport was able to score a staggering 15 goals in the two games against Midland, and only allowed one goal, which came in the second game. "The team has been working hard to iron out a few details and we feel they are prepared for the challenge this weekend" says coach
Tom Hofman when asked about his thoughts on this weekend's series. "Being so early in the season, it is hard to know what to expect from the competition, but an established school like Ohio State has always fielded a competitive team. We have set a few team goals for the weekend and I know the girls are up for the challenge".
The Series The Panthers and Buckeyes are no stranger to one another for they played a two-game series last year at the Patterson Ice Center. Davenport was able to come out victorious in both games, including a 1-0 overtime win in the first game. This will be the first time the Lady Panthers travel to Columbus.
