A Quick Look at Aquinas – 2-5, 1-0 WHAC – Head Coach Linda Nash (19th Season)
The Saints entered Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference play 1-5 with their only non-conference win at Rochester. Most recently, Aquinas held on to a 93-90 win at Concordia to win the league opener. The Saints never trailed in the second half and led by as many as 13 but the Cardinals cut the deficit down to at least four with 34 seconds left. Freshman Katie Theut has started all seven contests and is the Saints leader in scoring (13.0 per game). Veteran Allison Heberlein, who was an All-WHAC honorable mention last season, is averaging 14.5 points and 7.3 rebounds in four starts.

Panthers vs. Saints
Davenport and Aquinas have a long history on the basketball hardwood, marking the 25th time the two Beltline rivals will meet. A 16-game win streak has Davenport leading the all-time series 17-6. The last Saints win was Jan. 17, 2007, when they downed the Panthers 89-78 on their home floor.

The Last Time They Met
Davenport saw Tiesha Stokes score 17 points, both Kelly Dineen and Shaina Johnson tally 11 as the trio took part of a 26-2 run in the span of 10:19 in the second half to lead the Panthers to an 81-55 win over the Saints at the Student Center on Feb. 8, 2014. The win gave Davenport at least a share of its eighth straight WHAC regular-season championship. Alex Law also had a solid performance from 3-point range, connecting all four of her four field goals from there to finish with a dozen points.
