GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – Coming off perhaps the longest road trip to Virginia last weekend, the Davenport women's hockey team pulls the curtain on its first season at the University of Michigan in a two-game Central Collegiate Women's Hockey Association set. The Panthers and Wolverines meet for the first time Friday at 9:30 p.m. and will close out the series Saturday at 3 p.m. Both teams will also use this matchup as preparations for the CCWHA playoffs next weekend at Flint Iceland Arena in Flint, Mich.

A Quick Look at Michigan – 12-10-3, 10-3-3 CCWHA – Head Coach Rob Blackburn
The Wolverines have been unbeaten in their last five games, going 3-0-2 during the run. Recently, Michigan split a 1-1 game-one draw and a 3-0 victory at Grand Valley State at the beginning of the month. Jenna Trubiano and Monica Krozon have been racking up the most points for the Wolverines this season. Trubiano has collected 16 goals and 10 assists for 26 points and not too far behind her is Korzon with nine goals and 15 assists for 24 points. Kelsey Duggan has seen every minute between the pipes for Michigan this season, stopping 379 shots and carrying a 1.93 goals-against average.
