KISSIMMEE, Fla. – In their second match of spring break, the No. 24 ranked women's tennis team got a win under their belt as they defeated Webber International University 8-1. Davenport won all three doubles matches and then five of the six singles matches to post the convincing win and improve to 4-4 on the year. DU will face Warner University on Tuesday.
The Lady Panther tennis team brought their record to .500 in dual matches as they dominated the Warriors of Webber International on Monday afternoon. With only five players for the Warriors, DU did get a pair of forfeit wins, one in doubles and one in singles.
The Panthers did take care of business in six of the other seven matches as the singles players of
Puck Luttikhuis,
Emily Spiech,
Kristi Kuzdal and
Marcie Kooyers all won in straight sets while only dropping one game.
The doubles teams of

Puck Luttikhuis and
Emily Spiech/
Kristi Kuzdal won by a combined 16-2.
The No. 24 ranked Panthers will face Warner at 2 p.m. on Tuesday.
