About the Play 4Kay Breast Cancer Awareness Game
The Kay Yow Cancer Fund, in partnership with the Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) and The V Foundation, is a 501 (c)(3) charitable organization named after the late North Carolina State coach Kay Yow, who was first diagnosed with breast cancer in 1987, and passed away on Jan. 24, 2009, after facing her third bout with the disease. With the creation of the Fund, Yow hoped to raise money to further cutting-edge research conducted by the nation's top doctors and medical experts to allow more and more cancer patients to have access to experimental drugs and clinical trials.

A Quick Look at Aquinas
The Saints have started to bounce back in the win column, having won three of their last four games. Recently Aquinas pulled a 78-64 upset victory over Beltline rival Cornerstone at home Wednesday. Allison Heberlein put up monster offensive numbers on the evening, connecting 10 field goals, six from 3-point range and two on the charity stripe for 28 points. Heberlein and Taelor Sanders are the only Aquinas players to be averaging double figures in points, with both having just over 14. Heberlein is also the Saints leading rebounder, having brought down 7.4 in 24 games.

The Last Time vs. Aquinas
After six ties and three lead changes, Davenport found a bit of a momentum with less than nine minutes left in the first half as the Panthers defense held on to beat Aquinas 59-49 on Jan. 4. Alison Bouman collected 18 points and 10 boards to lead the effort for DU. Tiesha Stokes also reached double figures in points with 12 and were two rebounds shy from completing a double-double. Kayleigh VanKeulen and Kia Frazier added nine points.
