Davenport Starts at No. 1
The Panthers will enter Tyson Events Center as the second seed overall and a No. 1 seed in one of four quadrants. Davenport is a No. 1 seed for the fifth time, having been so from for four consecutive seasons (2009-12).

The Last Time DU was in the Tournament
Davenport pulled two upset victories in last year's NAIA Tournament. The second-seeded Panthers held on to beat No. 1 seed Eastern Oregon 62-60 in the quarterfinal and shocked Sioux City local and three-time defending champion Northwestern Ohio 74-68 in the Fab Four. DU's run for its first national title came up short as the Panthers failed to hold on to a two-point lead at halftime to lose to Indiana Wesleyan 61-43.
