GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – After posting a 4-1 record during their annual spring break trip including a 6-1 victory over NCAA DI Mount St. Mary's, the women's tennis team will resume play this Saturday when they play at Calvin College and then host Lake Superior State. The Panthers are 7-4 in dual matches this season.
Davenport will turn their attention to a few non-conference matches before entering WHAC play in a little less than a month and that all begins Saturday when they face Calvin College and Lake Superior State. DU will get the day started up at Calvin where they will take on the 1-3 Knights. The lone win for Calvin came against Cornerstone back on February 14 but they have since fallen to Aquinas, Coe and Wheaton.
The afternoon match will pit the Panthers against NCAA DII foe Lake Superior State as the Lakers are 7-9 on the season coming into the weekend.
The next the Panthers will be in action is next Friday (March 21) when they host Hllsdale College.
