No. 17 Women’s Tennis Ends Regular Season on 16-Match Winning Streak

Box Score

SPRING ARBOR, Mich. – Davenport will enter the postseason next week on a 16-match winning streak after disposing of host Spring Arbor 9-0 on Thursday evening. The No. 17 ranked Lady Panthers did not drop a single set in singles and swept the doubles by a combined 24-10. DU will now turn their attention to the NAIA Unaffiliated Group next weekend which will be hosted in Grand Rapids.

Head coach Patrick Grashorn made some changes to the lineup and it all turned out just as the previous 15 matches for DU did, with a win. The Panthers cruised to a 9-0 win while only dropping 26 total games in the nine matches to pick up win No. DU is now two wins away from tying a school record for dual wins in a single season in which they set in 2011-12.
