Grand Rapids, Mich. – In Caitlin Nosanov's final game before heading to Spain to participate in the U.S. Women's National University team, the Panthers routed the Badgers of Wisconsin 10-0, giving Nosanov her fourth shutout of the season. Lexie Boydston would also record her second hat-trick of the season, along with four other Panthers finding the back of the net in the Davenport women's hockey team's 11^th win of the season. The Panthers and Badgers will be back in action tomorrow evening at the Patterson Ice Center, with the puck set to drop at 5:30 p.m.
 
The Panthers struck within the first seven minutes of play as Darian Adams continued her scoring assault by finding the back of the net with the assists from Caraher and Patsy Howe. Lexie Boydston would then record her team high twelfth goal of the season minutes later, which sent the Panthers into the first intermission up 2-0.
 
Davenport would then pour it on in the second period, starting with Boydston tacking on her second and third goals of the night, giving her the hat-trick on the night. The hat-trick is Boydston's second of the season, and her 14 goals on the season is a team high. Adams would also knock in her second goal of the night, followed by a score from Catie O'Connor, which gives her 13 on the season.
 
Up 6-0 to start the third period, the Panthers continued their scoring assault as Chantal Caraher and Megan Martin each recorded a pair of goals, putting Davenport up 10-0, which would result as the final score on the night.
 
Caitlin Nosanov recorded 13 saves on 13 shots on goal in her final game before joining the U.S. Women's National University team, finalizing her overall record to 5-3-1 on the season.
 
The Panthers will be back in action tomorrow evening at 5:30 p.m. as they host Wisconsin again for game two of their weekend series.
