GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – After winning six out of their last seven games, the No. 13 Davenport women's hockey will play host to conference opponent Michigan in a two-game weekend series that has serious playoff implications for both teams. Game one of the series will start at 8 p.m. on Friday night, with game two starting at 3 p.m. on Saturday. Both games will be played at the Patterson Ice Center.

The Panthers Darian Adams leads the Lady Panthers with 31 total points, and is tied with
Lexie Boydston for the team lead in goals with 14.
Chantal Caraher's 18 assists are a team high, with Adam's 17 a close second.
Caitlin Nosanov will no longer be apart of the team for the remainder of the regular season, for she is now competing with the U.S. National University team, whom will be playing their games in Spain.
Nina Van Orshaegen will fill in for Nosanov for the remainder of the season, and already has done a nice job for the Panthers by posting a 2-0-0 record and a 1.50 goals against average in two starts.
Scouting Michigan (9-4-0) The Wolverines come into the weekend series ranked fifth in the ACHA Division I standings, and have won five out of their last six contests. Jenna Trubiano and Monica Korzon both lead Michigan in total points with 16, and Trubiano's is also first in goals scored with nine. Korzon leads the team team with 10 assists, tying Mercedes Reyes for a team high. Kelsey Duggan has started every game between the net for the Wolverines, posting a 9-4-0 record with a 1.69 goals against average.
CCWHA Standings As they have been all season, Miami (OH) sits atop the CCWHA standings with a 20-1-1 record and 41 points. Davenport is closing the gap on Robert Morris, sitting just three points behind the Eagles for second place. Grand Valley jumped Michigan after this weekend's games with their now 22 total points, with Adrian and Michigan State currently tied for the sixth spot with 15 points a piece.
