A Quick Look at Madonna
The 23rd-ranked Crusaders were kept inside the NAIA Top 25 this despite losing in overtime to Lawrence Tech last Saturday. Madonna did get back into the winning track rather quickly after out-dueling Marygrove 90-56 Wednesday. Three-time WHAC Player of the Week Michele Hayes has been proving to be a contender for the league's Player of the Year, averaging 21.1 points per game to lead all in the conference. She is also leading the Crusaders in shooting at 43.9 percent. Veteran Rachel Melcher also continues to be dangerous as she is averaging 11.9 points and 8.0 rebounds per game.

Panthers vs. Crusaders
This will be the 29th meeting between Davenport and Madonna, with DU leading the all-time series 22-6. Although the Panthers have won the last 16 of the last 18 contest, two the Crusaders wins have come on their home floor back in 2012 and 2013.

The Last Time They Met
The friendly confines of the DU Student Center played into effect the last time Madonna visited Davenport. Davenport hit the half-century mark from the field and dominated the boards 54-31 in the Panthers' 73-55 victory over the Crusaders on Nov. 22. Daina Grazulis had a monstrous day of 22 points and 17 boards to lead DU. Michele Hayes paced everyone on the floor with 25 points and had seven rebounds along with Rachel Melcher.
