GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - The Davenport women's tennis team concluded their fall season with an 8-1 loss to Valparaiso University on Tuesday evening. The Crusaders swept the doubles portion over the Panthers. Alyssa Fuentes and Puck Luttikhuis lost 8-5 at one doubles as did Hannah Murphy and Emily Spiech at three doubles. Steph Ritson and Anne Douwes lost 8-4 at two doubles.

Murphy got the team's lone point at five singles with a 6-4, 7-5 win over Randi Wind. The other five singles matches were straight set losses for Davenport. Fuentes dropped a 6-0, 6-2 match at one singles. Douwes fell 6-3, 6-0 in two singles to Meg Modesto. Ritson dropped a 6-1, 6-2 match at three singles against Paige Heuer.
