Where we are in the WHAC Tournament
While Davenport took care of Lawrence Tech 84-44 Wednesday night, Cornerstone used its home court advantage to defeat Northwestern Ohio 71-42, second-seeded Siena Heights handled Aquinas 66-50 in Adrian and No. 3 Madonna defeated Indiana Tech 70-56 in Livonia. Should Davenport advance to the WHAC Tournament championship Monday, the other finalist will receive the second automatic berth to the NAIA Division II Tournament in Sioux City, Iowa March 11.

A Quick Look a Cornerstone
The Golden Eagles jumped out to an early 8-0 lead but the Racers came back to tie it with 3:28 left in the opening half. But a 9-0 Cornerstone run the rest of the half gave the Golden Eagles a 32-23 lead into intermission. After both teams went back-and-forth, the Golden Eagles went on a 16-0 momentum to run away with the victory. Veteran and All-WHAC selection Jill Hendrickson finished with a double-double of 18 points and 13 rebounds. Altogether the Golden Eagles shot 51 percent around the perimeter and took advantage of the free throw line by going 18-for-22.

Davenport and Cornerstone This Season
The Panthers took the two meetings scheduled this season between the Panthers and Golden Eagles. Davenport took a 73-42 victory at Mol Arena in December and then 76-48 at the Student Center a month later.
