Box Score GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – It was senior night for the Davenport women's hockey team as
Caitlin Harrison played her final game of her collegiate career, which resulted in a 1-0 victory against CCWHA conference opponent Adrian College Saturday night.

The Panthers came out of the gates with a chip on their shoulder to begin the first period, and limited Adrian to just () shots. Davenport would then get on the scoreboard first as a scrum occurred between the two teams occurred in Adrian's net, leading to
Courtney Curlee knocking in her first goal of the season.

The second period saw an aggressive defensive display from both sides of the ice, with neither team finding the back of the net before heading into the second intermission.

The Panthers continued to maintain their 1-0 lead on the Bulldogs, which led to both teams getting edgier with one another as the game came closer to an end. The two teams exchanged five minute major penalties, putting Bulldogs on a 5-3 advantage for the game's final 40 seconds.

Davenport gave it all they had for the games final minutes, and held on to come away victorious with a final score of 1-0.

Victoria Smishek came up huge for the Panthers, tallying 36 saves on the night.

The Panthers playoff chances came to end this past Thursday with their 3-1 loss to Adrian, making Saturday's contest their final game of the season.
