Tennis Teams Cap Off Regular Season at Home against Indiana Tech

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The Davenport men and women's tennis teams will conclude their regular season schedules for the season as they host Indiana Tech on Wednesday afternoon. The men's team currently sits at 13-9 on the season and is 4-1 in the WHAC, while the men are 10-11 and have a conference record of 2-2. The Panthers and Warriors will faceoff at 1 p.m. on Wednesday at the Riverview Athletic Club, and just prior to the match, DU will honor their senior class.
 
The women's team is currently sitting in second place in the WHAC with a 4-1 record as they are one game behind first place Northwestern Ohio. DU has played three straight non-conference matches, winning all three to stretch their winning streak to five matches, which is their longest winning streak of the season. This season the Panthers have put together an 11-4 record against NAIA opponents, with all four losses coming against teams either receiving votes or ranked inside the top-25 of the NAIA polls.
 
The Davenport men's team is currently in a tie for third place in the WHAC as both teams hold a 2-2 record, heading in a crucial WHAC matchup this week, as the winner between Davenport and Indiana Tech will take the over sole possession of the third spot in the conference standings heading into the conference tournament. DU comes into the match on a three match win streak, while the Warriors have dropped their last three matches coming into the match on Wednesday.
 
The Panthers will honor their senior class prior to their final home against Indiana Tech on Wednesday afternoon at the Riverview Athletic Club at 1 p.m.
